The GE-GWF MWF adapter can be used to customize your refrigerator filter of the FXRT, MXRC, FXRC, HXRT to the newer and improved GE MWF water filter. If you currently have a MXRC, can HXRT, FXRT FXRC filter, this GE oil filter adapter use or canister, filters to customize your fridge to the MWF. This GE oil filter adapter and the GWF filter requires more space (approximately 1-2 inches) as your existing filters. If your top shelf is high positioned, you can MXRC instead of conversion of purchase. The adapter is a time purchase and not every 6 months as the MWF filter must be replaced. If you currently have the GWF filter in your refrigerator that has been set, you must purchase any of this adapter. Just make sure when you out of your old GWF filter keep the adapter in the refrigerator. This adapter can also be used if you want to replace your MXRC, HXRT, FXRT or FXRC filter with Aquafresh WF287.
