Watts 543700 3-stage filter with EZ Push Button Sediment, Carbon, and hollow fiber cartridges have suffered and struggled to make a decision about the type of "under the sink" water filtration system to buy. There are so may types, brands and configurations that I almost just stuck to bottled water. Boy I'm glad I didn't. I purchased this unit and installed myself in about 2 hours. The taste is great, the pressure is perfect and saving the environment. I have yet to replace the filters ... hoping that is a simple and cheap, but overall I'm satisfied with this unit.

Glad that I didn't go with a simple charcoal filter. Happy and pleased that do not choose a unit of osmosis that everyone says that impoverishes the minerals in your body I saved money on a system professionally installed ...

Filtrete 3 M Filtrete water pitcher I just bought this pitcher today at Walmart for $ 20 with an attachment in store coupon for $ 5 off. Initially, I went to the hallway with the intentions of buying a new Brita filter but was drawn to the statement "5 times faster" on Filtrete box. I often forget my water filter and Brita filtration process is so slow and annoying to me that sometimes when Im in a hurry I just drink tap. When comparing it with the Brita I own, I saw that not only was 5 times faster but the filter is good for 100 litres capacity of 40 gallon Brita. Also takes a total of 12 cups capacity 8 Cup of (my) Brita. I took this skeptic and determined that if it does not meet my expectations was right back to the store and to my surprise it exceeded them. Not only there is practically no waiting with Filtrete, but the overall structure of the filter is more practical. It takes less space, leaving more room for water (hence the extra 4 cups) and stays in place while pouring, unlike Brita sometimes. Has also an indicator of change in the AutoFilter that push to activate. This is much more convenient than the adhesive that you have to scroll around to remember to change the Brita filter. Annnnnd upon everything that it tastes great! I'm not sure if is better than the Brita because I never get such a Brita filter. But having a clean, pure taste. If I were to list incidents that arent drawbacks more of them are really differences, would be the fact that a new filter to Walmart is about $ 3 most expensive Brita because of the additional 60 litres. And the design of the Launcher has an embarrassing in the refrigerator, but in my opinion is much more attractive. Overall ... awesome product!

Even expensive bottled water seemed to always leave me feeling bloated to the point where sometimes I could hear the water sloshing around in the stomach. What a revelation was to experience the living water! The first day I started using it I started drinking alkaline water with pH 7.5, as recommended in the literature. I couldn't believe how big tasted. I drank about 10 glasses all day and evening. I was working on a project for my company and I'm so excited and engrossed in the project that suddenly noticed the clock said 03:00, and I was still strong. My mind had a new clarity that is hard to describe-sort of like a fog has been revoked. As the first week went on, I have continued to increase gradually setting and I experimented with other uses, how to use the water acid 4.0 for cleaning glass and as an antiseptic for cuts and mosquito bites, and alkaline water high 10.0 for removing wax on my shop cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes. I just love using water as a 4.0 high acid facial toner. Works better than expensive skin products that I used to use-and it's free!!! It's nice to be able to adjust the levels of pH incrementally and the LED display is attractive and has a meter that tells you what use are consumed. After a year of use is supposed to change the filters, and tells the display when. I have now been drinking alkaline water at 9.5 setting for 3 months and I just love it. I noticed a huge improvement in my skin texture and I lost 15 pounds. I saw a video on the Web site that showed that Vollara oil added to emulsify and alkaline water simply disappears. This made me think it was a good idea to drink alkaline water with meals, especially if any kind of greasy junk food is involved. There are so many cool features for the living water. I like that there is zero maintenance. The self-cleaning function turns on automatically every 4 or 5 days, and becomes the red LED and the machine beeps during cleaning so accidentally can not drink water that is emitted during cleaning. I am also very pleased with the strong water flow. My friend has alkaline water Ionizer of different brand and she takes forever to fill a glass of normal size which filled with water in 2 or 3 seconds. Another more noteworthy is that skin and mantle of my dog has greatly improved since we got the living water, and she seems to love the taste of it too. As regards the main disadvantage, if you're a frequent flyer, you won't have any way to bring your alkaline water on the floor with you unless you are willing to uninstall it and take the car with you (highly impracticable) and, unless you are visiting someone who has one, are going to be miserable without it. Shame there isn't a portable model. All in all, I am pleased with my purchase, and not lose those cases of bottled water home from the store of schlepping.

McNett Aquamira Tactical frontier Pro Ultralight water filter really haven't had the chance to use this but I am told that I would very rarely if ever trust a filter to only give me drinking water. Said I bought this to use two-fisted method before purifying water with chemical tablets and then using the filter to remove 1: any particulate matter in water harvesting, 2: the chemical taste of tablets and 3: as a backup for Chemistry, just in case.

Also it should be noted (as this was severely dissapointing to me) that the link hydration bladder can only be attatched to the suction side of the filter! That means that if you want to filter by in a tube Platypus hydration bladder, (rather than one) is going to take a little bit of improvisation. My current solution is to use the "straw" as something of a catheter that simply insert at the end of the rubber piece bite. It is stylish to say the least, but hopefully it will work.

Overall, I got this because it is one of the most compact filters that I could find and the screw compatible Platypus on is a big advantage. Can't say much more.

Milwaukee instruments PH pen PH600 works as described. I bought this pen to test the PH of the nutrient solutions plant. I removed it from the package and noticed White mineral building at the base of the pen. I can only imagine, but I would say that this accumulation is from the pen being tested before packaging. The pen was placed in simple tap water and left to sit for a few minutes. (I was told to let it sit for several hours in tap water, which was unnecessary). Test inside. 1 PH that occurred with the liquid PH test solution.

From what I've been able to collect the pen tip must always remain moist and never be left to dry. This is almost impossible to achieve with the pen CAP on. I decided to leave the instrument in plain tap water during storage.

The pen feels cheaply made but works fine so far, worth the price and an excellent alternative to a PH meter 75-100 dollars.

Tap Master iron Reverse Osmosis water filtration system we have very hard water & with all the talk of contaminants in NJ, we have installed this system 7 years ago, when we redid our cuisine. We weren't sure that you have the minerals in the water, but it was excellent. Is connected to our refrigerator for ice cubes. There's only 2 of us, so sometimes we were a little lax in changing filters (approximately every 15-18 months). Is still going strong!

4. filtered water pressure is not so bad at all. As another reviewer, you can fill a pot of water without wasting half an hour of your life.
5. cost effective. Beats buying bottled!

The only way I can assume that this has happened is that the filter sits in the warehouse in the dog days of summer long before it came into the hands of consumers. Shame because installed and worked well, otherwise, but the taste cannot be ignored. Amazon has had the best price for this, but if I were you, probably would buy locally if possible. Otherwise, it's a crapshoot in terms of knowing whether you will get one that is devoid of plastic taste or not.
